Jail Visit Intervention Program
Boomerang organizes educational jail visits for at-risk youth as a powerful reality check designed to steer them away from the path of incarceration. These visits are conducted in partnership with correctional facilities and allow youth to hear directly from incarcerated individuals about the consequences of choices, the impact on families, and the daily realities of life behind bars.
The goal is not to scare—but to educate, awaken, and redirect. We want youth to understand where certain behaviors can lead—and show them that there's still time to turn around, just like a boomerang.
